Kidron (Ohio)

Kidron is an unincorporated community in southwestern Sugar Creek Township, Wayne County, Ohio, United States. The village is situated in the territory of the Amish. The place is named after the brook Kidron from the Bible, the Old City from Mount of Olives in Jerusalem separates.

Because the village does not have its own administration, police Wayne County accepts their protection. There is a primary source of water in the city and a protected forest located nearby. The surrounding countryside is mostly used for agriculture. A small public elementary school located in Kidron and is part of the Dalton school district. The Central Christian School is a private school of the Mennonites.
