Kilala Princess

Kilala Princess (Japaneseきらら ☆ プリンセス, Kirara Purinsesu ) is a manga by the author Rika Tanaka and illustrator Nao Kodaka, which was released in Japan in 2005. The work can be divided into the genres of romance and fantasy lane and is a crossover with the Disney Princess franchise.

Action

Kilala is a dreamy girl who loves the six Disney Princesses about everything. But she lives alone because her parents are in a far away land where Kilalas mother to be healthy again. One day after school is Kilala a mysterious boy with a gorgeous diadem unconscious in the garden. After he woke up, this boy introduces himself as Prince Rei Paradisos, which is accompanied by Valdou. Together they are looking for the elect princess who owns the tiara and should be able to save Paradisos.

Kilala leads the two to a princess competition, the Kilalas friend Erika wins. But Erika is kidnapped by the conspirators from Paradisos who want to prevent the chosen princess rescues the country. A chase begins, which ends in the forest on a large wooden gate and Kilala and Rei brings to Snow White. From here on, the journey starts from a Disney Princess to the other. At each Kilala Princess gets a gemstone that is used in the diadem, because if six gems are united in the diadem, the seventh princess is chosen.

But it soon turns out that Valdou is not on the side of good, but preys on Kilala and Rei. Meanwhile, back in Paradisos, Kilala and Rei meet Silvia, rice fiancée that accompanies it henceforth. After all six gems are found, all three return to Paradisos the last battle against Valdou.

Characters

  • Kilala Reno (れ の きらら): Kilala is dreamy and loves the six Disney Princesses about everything. She is very adventurous and is not afraid to risk. For Rei she wants to be a princess. She has a jerboa called Tippeligaen, which is always at her side.
  • Rei (レイ): Rei is the Prince of Paradisos and is looking after the 7th princess who is urgently needed for peace in Paradisos.
  • Valdou (バルドー): At the beginning Valdou is rice companion. But it soon turns out that he is involved in the coup in Paradisos. He wants Kilala caught and take the diadem in to Paradisos can not be saved.
  • Silvia: Silvia is the princess of Frodisos, a neighboring state of Paradisos. In addition, it is rice fiancee and always calls him " Darling ".

Publication

The manga was released in Japan in September 2005 at the shojo magazine Nakayoshi the publisher Kodansha. The chapters were later published in five anthologies.

An English version of the manga published by Tokyopop, also saves Chuang Yi volumes in Singapore out. All five volumes were published from December 2006 to May 2009 to German at Egmont Manga & Anime. The translation is by Costa Caspary.
