Kilb

Kilb is a market town in the district of Melk in Lower Austria's wine district, with 2528 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013).

Geography

Kilb located in the hills of the Alpine foothills in the Sierning that arises here, as well as on the main road 29 Manker Straße (B 29). Approximately 25.93 percent of the area of the municipality is forested.

History
