Kim Bo-kyung

Kim Bo - kyung (born 6 October 1989) is a South Korean football player.

Career

Kim played at Hongik University, with whom he won the fall championship of the year 2008. In 2009 he took part in the Junior World Cup in Egypt with South Korea. Here he contributed with one goal against the United States and Paraguay to the fact that the South Koreans were advancing to the quarterfinals at which Kim because of a yellow card suspension was not allowed to participate.

After his impressive performances in Egypt, the left-footer was appointed to the senior national team in early 2010. On 9 January 2010, he played his first international match against Zambia. A month later he took part in the East Asian Football Championship. Kim prepared there in front of the goal for 3-1 final score against hosts Japan.

At club level, Kim Bo - kyung signed his first professional contract with the J. League club Cerezo Osaka in January 2010, but was shortly thereafter awarded to the second division club Oita Trinita. In summer 2010 he was in the South Korean squad at the World Cup in South Africa.

In July 2012, Bo - kyung moved into the English Football League Championship for Cardiff City.

In 2012 he was in the squad for the Olympic Games and came in five of six games to use. In the 3rd place match he won with his team the bronze medal, the first medal for South Korean football player.
