Kim Bùi
Kim Bui ( born January 20, 1989 in Tübingen ) is a German competitive gymnast.
Career
Bui trained in the art turn- Forum Stuttgart, a national training center for gymnastics. Your trainer is Tamara Khokhlova, their home club is the TSG Tübingen, in the Bundesliga, she is practicing for the gymnastics team Stuttgart, from 2011 for the MTV Stuttgart.
The soil specialist made in 2004 for the first time attention with fifth place in a World Cup (DTB - Pokal). 2005 Bui participated for the first time at the World Championships. At the German Championships in the same year she took on the devices uneven bars, vault and floor each third place in the all around, she finished fourth.
2006 Kim Bui was the first time German champion on the ground. She was also second in the jump on the balance beam and in the all around. The following year she won at the German Championships ranked third ( jump), four ( all-around ), five (floor and uneven bars ) and six ( balance beam ).
After her first appearance in 2005 Bui was able to qualify in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011 for the World Gymnastics Championships. In 2006 she was doing with the team 16, a year later occupied the German gymnasts tenth place.
As with the 2007 World Championships in Stuttgart, Kim Bui was allowed to participate in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing only as a substitute gymnast, although she was German champion in jump and on the ground, as well as Vice - Champion on the uneven bars.
Buis 2009 was most successful year: with the German Championships, she landed in all five competitions on the podium. She became German champion in the all around, on the ground and in the jump, took second place on the uneven bars and finished third on the beam. They also finished the 2009 World Championships as the best German ( number 23 in the all-around ) and took the DTB Cup in Stuttgart's Porsche - Arena on uneven bars her first World Cup victory.
On 16 February 2010, Kim Bui suffered a tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. At the European Championships 2011 in Berlin Bui won the bronze medal on the uneven bars. At the 2011 World Championships in Tokyo, she erturnte with the German national team to sixth place, which thus qualified for the 2012 Olympics. At the European Championships in 2012 Bui was fourth on bars and eighth with the team. In London, the team finished ninth at the Olympic Games.
In the fall of 2009, Kim Bui sat beside her career as a gymnast, a study of the technical biology at the University of Stuttgart.
