Kim Hak-kyun

Kim Hak- kyun ( Kor. 김학균; * November 15, 1971 ) is a former badminton player from South Korea.

Career

Kim Hak- kyun participated in two Summer Olympics. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, ​​he was fifth in the men's singles. Four years later, at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, it was enough only to 17th place between the two Olympiads Kim won bronze in the men's singles at the Asian Games in 1994 behind the Indonesians Heryanto Arbi and Joko Suprianto. In the Thailand Open in 1995 and the Swedish Open 1995, he finished each ranked second. In 1996, he triumphed at the Korea Open. His first big success however, dates from 1989, where he won the Mixed the China Open, together with Hwang Hye -young.

With the South Korean team, Kim won the Sudirman Cup 1993.
