Kim Joo-sung

Kim Joo -sung ( born January 17, 1966 in Gangwon- do, South Korea ) is a former South Korean national football team. With the South Korean national team, he participated in three World Cups in a row and was three-time Asian footballer of the year.

Career

After he played with the South Korean team Chosun University and Daewoo Royals, he was bought by VfL Bochum. In the 1992/93 season he came on 13 Bundesliga matches in the following season, due to the descent of the Bochum sporting association, at 21 Second Bundesliga games and in addition four goals. Since Kim Joo -sung claimed that his strength would result from his long hair, he was nicknamed "Little Samson " missed.

National

With the South Korean national football team he reached 1986, 1990 and 1994, three times in a row, the final round of the World Cup, but they remained winless in all three tournaments. It was also chosen to 1991 in three consecutive years for Asian Player of the Year Kim Joo -sung in 1989. When choosing to Asian Player of the century he came to Cha Bum -kun to second place.
