Kim Ki-young
Kim Ki -young ( born October 10, 1919 in Seoul, † 5 February 1998 in Seoul) was a South Korean film director.
He was known for his psychosexual and melodramatic horror films, often focusing women stood.
His most famous film Hanyo ( The Housemaid, 1960) about a femme fatale is regarded as one of the best Korean films of all time. Father Dong- shik are factory workers music lessons, while his wife was at home working on the sewing machine. When she experienced a collapse to Dong brings a domestic help. But this is behaving strangely, Dong sniffs behind and catches rats with her bare hands. Finally, she takes a Zwischfall as an opportunity to plan a gruesome revenge.
