Kim Kyung-wook

Kim Kyung -wook ( Kor. 김경욱; born April 18, 1970) is a former South Korean archer.

Career

Kim Kyung -wook was appointed for the first time in 17 years, the South Korean national team. In 1989 she participated in her first World Cup and won with the team once the gold medal. In individual competition she also was able to win the silver medal. The 1992 Summer Olympics she missed after they had failed in the national elimination fights. Due to her age, she had already missed the games in 1988 in the domestic Seoul. However, Kim Kyung -wook successfully qualified for the Summer Games in Atlanta in 1996, where they won the gold medal with both the team and in the individual event. In the finale of Single Page defeated the Chinese HE Ying with 113:107 points. Together with Kim Jo -sun Youn and Hye -young Kim Kyung -wook placed in the ranking round of the team competition with 661 points, a new world record. After the Games, she finished her career first in competitive sports and married her compatriot Lee In -hun, who was also active as an archer.
