Kim Madsen

Kim Madsen ( born February 13, 1978 in Roskilde ) is a Danish football player.

Career

The first football stations of Kim Madsen were Svogerslev BK (1984-1991), Roskilde BK (1991-1995), KB København (1995 /96).

In 1996 he moved to FC København. At 18, Madsen was here his debut in the Super League. He appeared as a substitute on 22 September 1996 at the game against AB Copenhagen in 72 minutes. However, this was his only game this season. The following season, Madsen was loaned to Køge Boldklub. Back at FC København, he played on 27 August 1998 in the second leg of the qualifying round of the European Cup Winners' Cup in the Azerbaijani team FK Qarabağ Aghdam its first international match. During the season, he penetrated with the team to the second round and had played with the other two away matches against Levski Sofia and FC Chelsea for use. In the 2000/2001 season he was with FC København Danish title. So the team was eligible for participation in the qualification for the UEFA Champions League. Madsen played both games each against Torpedo Kutaisi in the 2nd round and Lazio Rome in the 3rd round of qualifying. FC København lost against Lazio with a total of 3:5 and thus failed to reach the main round. Overall, Madsen played 77 Super League, five national cup, six UEFA Cup, three European Cup Winners' Cup, one UEFA Intertoto and four Champions League matches for FC København, scoring a goal in the Super League.

In the summer of 2002, he moved for a transfer fee of 800,000 euros to VfL Wolfsburg. For VfL Wolfsburg, he completed 13 games in the Bundesliga. His only goal for Wolfsburg he scored on matchday 16 of the 2002/03 season to a 2-2 draw at Hertha BSC.

In December 2003, the Dane moved free transfer to Hansa Rostock. By the end of the season 2004/ 05 he played 24 top-flight appearances for Hansa Rostock and scored a goal. At the end of the season 2004/ 05 he went with FC Hansa from the 2nd Bundesliga. In the following two second division seasons, he ran 34 times and reached at the end of the season 2006/ 07 the re-emergence in the Bundesliga. Madsen, however, did not belong in the promotion season to the root formation of FC Hansa Rostock.

After five years in Germany Madsen wanted to return to Denmark. So he moved in June 2007 to the Danish top-flight climbers Aarhus GF. There he signed a three -year contract.
