Kinesis is a sub-discipline of ethological oriented communication studies and examined in the context of discourse analysis specifically the movement behavior in its communicative relevance.

This applies, for example, for training for speeches and public appearances about the rhetoric, where the movement behavior has been treated since ancient times, the term " actio ", for the training of de-escalation behavior in social or police professions or for the training of sellers in the sales pitch.
