King Hui of Wei

King Hui of Wei ( Chinese魏 惠王), birth name Ying (罃), also known as King Hui of Liang (梁惠王), was the third ruler of the Chinese state Wei at the time of the Warring States Period. He was the grandson of the founder of the state, Marquis Wen of Wei and had the dominion over from his father, Marquis Wu of Wei.

During his long reign Hui, then still Marquis, the capital of Anyi relocated to Daliang (now Kaifeng ), which zugutekam the State in economic terms. From then on, his state was also called Liang. Later Marquis took the title of king, also led to his descendants.
