Kinloch Rannoch

Kinloch Rannoch ( Scottish Gaelic: Ceann Loch Raineach ) is a village in the Scottish Highlands. It is in the Unitary Authority of Perth and Kinross at the outflow of the River Tummel from Loch Rannoch.

The present village is a schedule created under the direction of Ensign James Small Town from 1754 onwards. For the construction of the village of Kinloch, which had stood in the same place was demolished. In the newly created site Kinloch Rannoch especially army veterans were settled. Due to the scheduled installation Kinloch Rannoch shows a very uniform appearance today.

Today, the site is primarily a tourist center. Kinloch Rannoch serves many visitors to the Highlands as a starting point for hiking, biking, rafting and fishing trips. The place and in particular its surroundings are furthermore very picturesque.
