Kinokawa (Japanese紀の川 市, -shi ) is a city in Wakayama Prefecture in Japan.

Kinokawa is located east of Wakayama.
History
The city Kinokawa was on 11 November 2005 from the former municipalities Uchita (打 田 町, chō ), Kokawa (粉 河 町, chō ), Naga (那 贺 町, chō ), Momoyama (桃山 町, chō ) and Kishigawa (贵志 川 町, -chō ) of the district of Naga founded.
