The Rivière Kipawa is a left tributary of the Ottawa River in the Canadian province of Québec.

The Rivière Kipawa forms the western outlet of Lac Dumoine. This it flows from southeast to northwest. The outflow of the Rivière Kipawa Lac Kipawa in Laniel from is regulated by the Laniel Dam. Then the Rivière Kipawa flows for a distance of 16 km west to 90 m deeper Lac Témiscamingue. In this last section of the river there are numerous rapids, which are popular with whitewater canoeists and kayakers. Shortly before his mouth, the route crosses the river 101. About the Kipawa Dam was built in 1911, a smaller part of the effluent water from Lake Kipawa on the Ruisseau Gordon flows directly to the Ottawa River below the Lac Témiscamingue.

The Rivière Kipawa has a total length of 177 km. The catchment area of the Rivière Kipawa Lac Dumoine shares with the Rivière Dumoine.

There are plans for a hydroelectric power plant, which exploits the difference in height between Lac and Lac Kipawa Témiscamingue. The water would be diverted and the lower reaches of the river are missing.
