Kirnach (Brigach)

The Kirnach is a 12 km long river in the eastern Black Forest in Baden- Württemberg, which opens at Villingen in the Black Forest -Baar -Kreis from the right and the west in the middle Brigach.

Name

The name of the Kirnach is of Germanic origin and means " mill ". It is derived from the Middle High German " Kürne ", Old High German " Quirn " and Germanic " kwirn -uc ".

Course
