Kiryat Mattersdorf

Kiryat Mattersdorf (Hebrew קריית מטרסדורף; . Engl Kiryat Mattersdorf ) is an ultra-Orthodox community in the north of Jerusalem, Israel. It was (known by its current name Mattersburg) founded in 1948 by Samuel Ehrenfeld, the last chief rabbi Matter village. After his son is now his grandson Rabbi of the community and support the " Mattersdorfer scholarship ", the local Torah School, which had a regional reputation before 1938.
