Kitzbüheler Horn Transmitter

The transmitter Kitzbühel Horn is a 102 meter high radio tower in reinforced concrete on the Kitzbühel Horn bei Kitzbühel in Austria. The radio tower Kitzbühel Horn has no cylindrical shaft. It is used for transmission of TV and FM radio programs.

The radio tower was put into operation on December 12 in 1969 after two years of difficult construction period as a combined radio and television broadcasting system of the ORF. It was preceded by lengthy and intensive negotiations with authorities and land owners.

Tyrol (Channel 24, 30 kW) set on October 22, 2007 - For the benefit of switching to DVB- T analog channels ORF were one (channel 5, 3 kW) and ORF 2.
