KiXtart

KiXtart is a scripting language for Microsoft Windows operating systems. It is developed by Ruud van Velsen of Microsoft in the Netherlands and distributed as Careware.

KiXtart is extensible and supports a number of technologies which are very widespread in within the Windows platform. These include, among other things, the Component Object Model (COM), Active Directory Service Interfaces (ADSI), ActiveX Data Objects (ADO ) and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). With the help of KiXforms graphical user interfaces for KiXtart scripts can be developed. KiXtart is not compatible with the Microsoft Active Scripting architecture because it was developed before there was Active Scripting and Windows Script Host ( WSH).
