Kiyoura Keigo

Count Kiyoura Keigo (Japanese清浦 奎 吾; born February 14, 1850 in Kumamoto Prefecture, † November 5, 1942 ) was a Japanese politician and January 7, 1924 to June 11, 1924, the 23rd Prime Minister of Japan. He was the fifth son of a Buddhist priest named Ryoshi Okubo (大 久保 了 思). His birth name was Fujaku Okubo (大 久保 普 寂). From 1865 to 1871 he studied at the private school of Hirose Tanso. During this time he was with Nomura Morihide, Governor of Saitama Prefecture, friends and their name into Kiyoura Keigo.

In 1876 Kiyoura at the Ministry of Justice. Later he became the Vice Minister of Justice, Minister of Justice, Agriculture and Commerce Minister and eventually Prime Minister of Japan. From 1922 to 1924 he was the chairman of the Privy Council.
