KK Slavonski Brod

KK Svjetlost Brod is a basketball club based in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. Currently the club plays in the Croatian first league.

History

In the second half of 1946, the club was founded. He first bore the name Crvena Zvezda ( Red Star ) which was more typical of a Serbian club. It can be assumed that this name was chosen due to the Communist basic idea.

Over time, the name was changed several times in: BSK, Proleter, Oriolik, Oriolik Jasinje, Svjetlost - Oriolik, Svjetlost, Svjetlost - Brod before you once again bears the name Svjetlost.

Hall

At the time one carries its home games in the school gymnasium Brod. The district is called Little Paris.
