KK Split

KK Split is a basketball club from the Croatian coastal town of Split.

History

KK Split is one of the most successful basketball clubs in Europe. The club in the late 1980s under the name " Jugoplastika " Split three times in a row won the European Champions Cup, what else just ASK Riga succeeded in the early years of the competition, playing both in the Croatian first division, as well as in the NLB League.

Among the most famous players in the history of the association include some of Europe and the world well-known players, including Toni Kukoč, Dino Rađa, Žan tobacco (all players in the NBA ) and also Vujčić Nikola, Petar Skansi, Rato Tvrdić, Željko Jerkov, Duje Krstulović, Damir Solman, Ivica Dukan, Željko Poljak, Velimir Perasovic, Dusko Ivanovic, Luka Pavićević, Zoran Sretenović and Roko Leni Ukić. Dino Rađa was after the end of his active career for some time president of the association.

Among the most famous coaches in the history of the association include the following in Europe and world-renowned coach Branko Radovic, Kresimir Cosic, Zoran Slavníč, Bozidar Maljković, Željko Pavličević, Vlado Vanjak, Nikša Bavčević and former player Petar Skansi and Velimir Perasovic.
