TRS is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg Lewitz edge of pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ).

Geography and transport

The place is located ten kilometers south of Crivitz and about 18 kilometers west of Parchim. It lies north of Lake Müritz - Elde waterway in the flat Lewitz landscape. The largest forest area is the Klinkener timber southeast of the district. The largest river is the Klinkener Bach. In the north- east, the nature reserve clinker Plage is the wetland Klinkener Moor. In the vicinity of which the forest area of Seefeld fir trees and the lake is Klinkener.

The Federal Highway 24 is on the junction Neustadt- Glewe distance ( 20 km). Jack is located south of state road 321 and north of the B 191

History

Jack was first mentioned in 1230 and was named to the 16th century Glineke. The place name derives from the Slavic glina for mud or clay, which points to the location of the village on a layer of clay.

Coinciding with the municipal election held on 7 June 2009, the formerly independent communities Raduhn, Matzlow -Garwitz and jack merged to form the new municipality Lewitz edge.
