Knights' Square (Pisa)

The Piazza dei Cavalieri ( to place the German Ritter) is famous for its imposing buildings. It is located in the historic center of Pisa and described previously secular main square of the city of Pisa. The efficient architect Vasari also built the famous watch Palazzo dell'Orologio. He described the transition from the Torre delle Sette Vie, a city jail and the Torre della Fame, the hunger tower, which the miserable starved city Captain Count Ugolino della Gherardesca its name.
