Knut Arild Hareide

Knut Arild Hareide ( born November 23, 1972 in Bømlo, Norway) is a Norwegian politician and since 2011 Chairman of the Christian People's Party.

Knut Arild Hareide visited the Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen and studied economics and sociology. He was State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance 2001 to 2004. Between June 2004 and October 2005, he was Norwegian Minister of the Environment. In the Storting since 2009, he represents the province of Akershus.
