Kobuleti Municipality

The municipality Kobuleti (Georgian ქობულეთის მუნიციპალიტეტი ) is a municipality ( county ) in Georgia, in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. The administrative center of the municipality is the town of Kobuleti Kobuleti. The area is 720 km ². The municipality has 91,100 inhabitants ( 2010).

To the north is the municipality Osurgeti, bounded on the southwest by the municipality Chelwatschauri, in the south of the municipality Keda and in the southeast by the municipality Schuachewi. The climate is subtropical. The average rainfall is 2500-3000 mm. The average air temperature varies between 13 ° C to 15 ° C. The largest rivers in the municipality Kobuleti are Tscholoki and Kintrishi. The highest mountain is Qanli (Georgian ყანლი ) with 2987 meters.
