Kollo

Region

Kollo (also: Kolo ) is a town and the capital of the eponymous department Kollo in Niger.

Geography

Kollo is located in the southern Sahel, on the Niger River. The neighboring municipalities are N'Dounga the northwest, Kouré the east and Youri in the southwest. The municipality is divided into five districts, 25 administrative villages and eleven hamlets. The Neighborhoods hot Aoula Kouara, Carré, Kollo Fondou, Madina and Sahara.

History
