Konstantin Lopushansky

Konstantin Sergeyevich Lopushanski ( born June 12, 1947 in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Soviet and Russian film director and screenwriter. Lopushanski is mainly known for his post-apocalyptic film Letters from a Dead from 1986.

Life

Lopushanski made ​​in 1970 graduated from the Kazan State Conservatory as a violinist and graduated in 1973 a research assistantship at the Leningrad Conservatory, where he graduated as a candidate of sciences. He taught at the Kazan and Leningrad Conservatory for several years before he attended the Higher Courses for screenwriters and film directors. After the completion of the courses in 1979 he assisted Andrei Tarkovsky in directing the film Stalker. Since 1980 he works for the Lenfilm film production companies as a production manager.
