The Kontraktowa Square (Ukrainian Контрактова площа / Kontraktowa ploschtscha ) is one of the oldest courses in the Ukrainian capital Kiev and the heart of the district Podil with a variety of monuments such as the central building of the Kyiv -Mohyla Academy, the contract house, the Samson Fountain, the Sahajdatschny monument, Pyrohoschtscha Church and St. Catherine's Monastery and many cultural institutions.
