Kopparbergs Brewery

The Kopparberg (Swedish Kopparbergs Bryggeri AB) is a Swedish brewery brewery in Kopparberg, which specializes in cider.

History

Kopparberg was originally founded in 1882 by 36 smaller brewers. 1989 Kopparberg was acquired by a Swiss brewery, but in 1994 withdrew again from the business. Thus it passed into the possession of a bank. In early 1994, the brewery was opened by brothers Peter and Dan -Anders Bronsman again. These are derived since the shops. A large part of the brewery was destroyed in a fire in 1997 and then rebuilt.

In the following years Kopparberg started exporting, first to Greece, followed in 1999, the United Kingdom and then the other States.

Products

While there was initially only apple and pear cider and the end of 2007 were also included an alcohol-free version and variants from other fruits with the assortment.
