Geography

Geographical location

Korntal located in Strohgäu in 285-405 meters northwest of the city of Stuttgart and is adjacent to this.

The boundary between Korntal and the district of Stuttgart Weilimdorf runs right through the residential area. History

Korntal

The district Korntal 1297 was first mentioned in the statutes of the canons Sindelfingen. Korntal was a manor until 1819 and belonged to the community, because in the village ( today Stuttgart -Weilimdorf ) in the upper office Leonberg.
