Korrespondent

The correspondent (Russian Корреспондент; Ukrainian: Кореспондент ) is a Russian -language news magazine from the Ukraine. The magazine is published weekly with a circulation of about 50,000 copies per issue and is published in KP Media -Verlag.

The range of topics includes news, politics, particularly from the post-Soviet states and the CIS space, economy, science and technology, culture and entertainment, sports and a local section over Kiev. In addition, also translate articles from selected international press, see the "correspondents".

While the print edition appears exclusively in Russian, the web site is also available in Ukrainian.

Since 2003, a correspondent is once a year, following the example of the U.S. newsmagazine TIME and its Time 100 list, a list of the most influential people in the Ukraine out. In first place were, among others, already about Yulia Tymoshenko, Viktor Yushchenko, Rinat Akhmetov and Viktor Yanukovych.
