Inaba Koshi, full time singer of the rock duo B'z, was born on 23 September 1964 as Hiroshi Inaba the light of day. He was the second son of a family from the middle class in Okayama, which still operates the same business.

In his (high) school, he found out about his brother on the music and joined the band of a friend, which should, however, have only a single appearance. This was followed by years of study, in which Hiroshi in his main subject of mathematics was one of the Top 3 of the entire country, while never neglected his musical activities.

After completing his studies, the young Hiroshi wanted to be a teacher, but would have to accept some limitations in buying and decided summarily to take a career as a professional singer in attack. He changed his name probably at this time in Koshi, the names consist of the same Kanji, which allow both ways of reading.

The next few years should show what has extraordinary talent Koshi. He was within a few years become one of the most popular singers in Japan, but this is also the story of B'z, which is described in more detail in the band bio.

1997 broke B'z their activities and both Tak and Koshi tried on solo projects. For Tak it was not the first solo work, Koshi, however, entered new musical territory, because of the common band Tak had always assumed the arrangements and compositions. The result was his first album "Magma ", which should go back towards blues-rock again, a phase that B'z had already completed two years earlier with the double album "The 7th Blues". Following full of B'z tradition also this album debuted at number one in the Oricon charts.

The newfound musical freedom liked Koshi apparently so good that he repeatedly published at irregular intervals, new works, without, however, neglecting his main band. His most recent album Peace of Mind was released in September 2004. This was followed by a nationwide tour that culminated in the second home, which of course sold-out arena of Yokohama. In November 2009 he published together with guitar legend Slash in Japan the single Sahara, which originated in the work on his new solo album. On the B - side of the single is the song Paradise City, re-recorded with Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas and Cypress Hill. However Slash stressed that neither of the two songs will be on the album.
