Kossuth Rádió

Kossuth Rádió (MR1 ) is one of three radio stations that are produced by the Hungarian state radio Magyar Rádió.

Its namesake is the Hungarian national hero Lajos Kossuth. The program focuses on news, reports, interviews, political, economic and cultural issues. The most famous mission Krónika (English Chronicle ) has each day about three million listeners.

Magyar Rádió also produced Petőfi Rádió ( MR2) and Bartók Rádió ( MR3 ).
