Kosta Rodrigues

Konstantinos Elvis Rodrigues ( born August 12, 1979 in Rüsselsheim ) is a German football player whose father is from Portugal and her mother from India.

Career

Rodrigues began playing football at an early age, he went through the youth leagues at his home club Eintracht Rüsselsheim before he moved to the U13 Eintracht Frankfurt.

The jump in the men's area managed Rodrigues at Upper Franconia SC Weismain which played into the Regionalliga Süd. In Weismain however Kosta Rodrigues remained only one year. For the 1999/2000 season he joined Eintracht Braunschweig in the Regionalliga Nord.

After the rise of Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2nd Bundesliga Rodrigues moved 2002 Hannover 96, was loaned from there but just for two years until 1 FC Saarbrücken. From there he came in January 2004 back to Eintracht Braunschweig.

Kosta Rodrigues had at Eintracht Braunschweig signed a contract until June 30, 2009, which was not renewed. From the second half of 2009/10 Brunswick League rival Borussia Wuppertal SV Rodrigues took them under contract.

From the back round early in the season 2010/11 until the end of the season 2011/12 Kosta Rodrigues played for the first FC Magdeburg in the Regionalliga Nord. Since 2012 he is active in the SSV Kästorf in the national league Brunswick.

  • 2x promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with Eintracht Braunschweig ( 2002, 2005 )
