The Köttelbach (also called " Köttelsbach ") is a nearly 4 km long right tributary of the north-east or Dhünn.

Course

The Köttelbach rises in Leverkusen - Lützenkirchen near the sports field. It flows, partly underground, in a southwesterly direction to its main flow direction, which he retains substantially to its mouth. On the outskirts he takes on the Holzer Bach. In Quettingen the creek flowing through the forest Bürgerbusch. East of Jakob Fröhlen - road it is fed by the small meadow stream and shortly thereafter the monk Bach and the Bach Blankenburger. The Civil bush, a forest area in Leverkusen, is a rich haven for many different animal and plant species.
