Kouaoua

Kouaoua is a municipality in the northern province in New Caledonia. It is located on the main island of Grande Terre. The places in the municipality are: canoe - Chaoué, Kouaoua ( main town ), Méa - Mébara, honeycomb and Wénèè.

The community is an important mining area.
