Kovelamudi Bapayya

K. Bapaiah ( Telugu: . కె బాపయ్య ) is an Indian director of Telugu and Hindi film.

Bapaiah began in the mid 1960s as an editor at the studios of the production company Vijaya Pictures. He was assistant director and had made ​​his debut in 1970 as the principal director of the film Drohi. In the 1980s he moved to low-budget Hindi remakes of successful Telugu films. Star of these films was often Jeetendra - Mawaali (1983) and Himmat Aur Mehnat (1987 ), but also Mithun Chakraborty as in the vendetta Ghar Ek Mandir thrillers (1984) and Waqt Ki Awaaz (1988).
