Kozlovice (Plzeň-South District)

Kozlovice ( German Koslowitz ) is a municipality with a population of 84 in the Czech Republic. It is located two kilometers south of Nepomuk and belongs to Okres Plzeň -jih. The land area is 385 ha

Geography

Kozlovice is located 485 m above sea level. M. Potok between the valleys of Mihovka and Myslivský in the hill country. West of the town lies the pond Jednota that feeds the Mihovka.

Neighboring towns are Nepomuk in the north, Mileč in the east, Záhoří Maňovská and Maňovice the southeast, Kramolín in the south and Soběsuky in the West.

History

Kozlovice was first documented in 1551. The village, however, is much older and was among the possessions of the monastery destroyed in 1421 Pomuk.
