Kozojídky

Kozojídky ( German Klein Kosojed, formerly Kozogidek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers south of Veseli nad Moravou and belongs to Okres Hodonín.

Geography

Kozojídky located in Dolnomoravský úval ( Southern Basin March ) by the stream Kozojídka. To the east rises the Radošov (244 m) and west of the Drážky (227 m).

Neighboring towns are Veseli nad Moravou in the north, Blatnice pod Svatým Antonínkem in the northeast, Louka in the east, Lipov, Tasov and Hroznová Lhota in the southeast, Kněždub in the south, Žeraviny and Strážnice the southwest, Liderovice in the west and Vnorovy and Zarazice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Veseli took place in 1490 as the property of Mikuláš of Vojslavice. In 1502 Jan von Kunovice overwrote the goods in Kozogitky his wife Barbara of Proskau as a wedding gift. Jan von Kunovice founded in 1511, the vast estates Ostroh, which also Kozojídky was come. In the 16th century the village was known as Cozogidek or Kozogiedek. After the Battle of White Mountain, the goods of insurgent January Bernart were confiscated by Kunovice and sold in 1625 to Gundaker of Liechtenstein. In hooves register of 1656 25 property are reported for Kozojídky, four of which were desolate. 1671 Kozojídky was fully repopulated and consisted of five Hüfnerstellen, eleven Halbhüfnern and five cottagers. Two Halbhüfner and smallholdings were inhabited at the time as new. In 1671 the village was called Kozogideck and 1720 as Kozogedek. The oldest town seal dates from the year in 1726. The basic accounts are held since 1727. In 1843 the city had 294 inhabitants. In Kozojídky was at this time a distillery. 1846, the name forms Kozogedek, Kozogidek and Kozogjdky were common. Until the mid- 19th century, the village remained subservient always Ostroh. Parish and school location was Hroznová Lhota.

After the replacement of patrimonial Kozojídky formed with Žeraviny 1850 a municipality Žeraviny - Kozojídky in the District Commission Hradisch and the jurisdiction Strážnice. In 1867, parted both villages and formed their own communities. A year later, the village was assigned to the district Göding. 1872, the site was designated as Kozoidek and Kozojídek. In 1880 the village had 277 inhabitants consistently Czech and consisted of 47 houses. After 1893 passed the names and forms Kozojídek Kozojídky. 1911 own village school was opened in Kozojídky. 1921 lived in 80 houses in the village 344 people. In 1930 Kozojídky had grown to 84 stores and had 330 inhabitants. In 1950, 356 people in the village. Between 1949 and 1960 the village belonged to Veseli nad Moravou Okres and came to the resolution back to Okres Hodonín. Between 1980 and 1990 Kozojídky was incorporated to Hroznová Lhota. The community performs a coat of arms and banners.
