Kpandu

Kpandu is a small city in Ghana in the Volta region with about 16,000 residents. Kpandu situated on the banks of the Volta Lake and has significance for the inland waterways. The ferries can not approach the shore here due to the low water level. Travelers and traders must therefore translate with small boats to continue lying in the Volta Lake Ferries.

The Caves of Kpandu are a popular destination for tourists in Ghana. The larger of the two located near Kpandu caves named Agbenohoe is a Catholic place of pilgrimage and Marian devotion was dedicated. The smaller one is unused by various Christian churches and pilgrimage site located in Aziavi district.
