Krembz

Krembz is a municipality in the southern part of the North West in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Gadebusch based in the same city.

Geography

The agricultural community Krembz is close to the border to Schleswig -Holstein in the hilly area between Gadebusch and the Schaalsee. Here, in the sources of shields, Radegast and the tributaries of the Schaale runs a part of the North Sea - Baltic Sea watershed. The major districts Salitz, Lützow Horst, Radegast and Schönwolde are in Schaalsee. In the south, the municipality borders the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim.

History

The Church of Salitz is mentioned with the members of the former parish additional locations in 1230 in Ratzeburg tithe register, which at that time the diocese of Ratzeburg belonging villages ordered by parishes lists. The district Radegast is already recorded in the Isfriedschen partition treaty of 1194. It was here that in 1712 a part of fighting the battle of Gadebusch instead.

Transport links

Seven kilometers north of Krembz lies the small town Gadebusch. There is connection to the national road network ( highways 104 and 208) and connected by train to Schwerin and Rehna.
