Kristi Leskinen

Kristina " Kristi " Leskinen ( born February 10, 1981 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania) is a former American freestyle skier.

Career

Sports

Leskinen, which is of Finnish descent, won the silver medal in the halfpipe at the freestyle skiing world championships in 2005 in Ruka. At the Winter X Games in Aspen in the same year she won the bronze medal in the superpipe. In the Gravity Games Leskinen won the 2005 halfpipe race.

Model and TV

During her active career Leskinen was active as a model and pin -up girls and in 2004 was featured on the cover of the annual Photo bands of Powder magazine. In 2005 she was elected to the 100 Hottest Women of 2005 by the magazine FHM. In 2009 she participated in the TV show The Superstars of the TV station ABC part. Together with Maksim Chmerkovisky of Dancing with the Stars, she won the show.

Leskinen turned even during their sporting careers films on the freestyle skiing and in their free time wakeboarding.

Leskinen is married to Russell Thornton. She has three brothers and two sisters.
