Kristin Cashore

Kristin Cashore (born 1976 in Pennsylvania) is an American writer who primarily writes fantasy fiction.

Life

Cashore grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania on the second oldest of four sisters. She studied at the Center for the Study of Children's Literature of Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. Cashore has up to her first literary success with two novels worked in various professions including as an editor and copywriter in the advertising industry. Her books made ​​it immediately to the New York Times bestseller list. They have been translated into 28 languages.

In 2012 lived and wrote them in Boston. Her third novel was published in the same year with the title Bitter Blue.
