Jan Kristofer Ottosson ( born January 9, 1976 in Skarpnäck ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who, with a short interruption in Djurgårdens IF in the Swedish Elitserien league professional playing on the position of the right winger since 1994.

Career

After Kristofer Ottosson already played in his youth for the club, he was brought to the beginning of the Elitserien season 1994/95 in the first team squad Djurgårdens IF, where he quickly established a permanent part of the team. During his third season for Djurgården, the attacker moved into the second-class league Allsvenskan to Huddinge IK. Despite good performances by Ottosson was missed in the Elitserien with Huddinge the rise. Before the Elitserien season 1999/2000 the winger moved back to Djurgården.

In the very first year of his return succeeded in winning the Le Mat Cup, the Swedish Championship. This success could be repeated in the season it. In the 2009/10 season Djurgården was again in the championship finals, but they lost there HV 71 Jönköping. Two years later, Ottosson dismounted with his club in the second-class HockeyAllsvenskan after Djurgårdens IF finished in last place the Elitserien this season and the relegation of the Kvalserien could not be saved.

Internationally

At the international level Kristofer Ottosson played with the Swedish ice hockey team for the first time at the U18 European Junior Championships in 1994, where he won the gold medal with his team. At the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship 1995 Sweden third, at the Junior World Championships the following year they lost in the finals of the Canadian selection and won the silver medal. His only use in the men's team had the striker at the Ice Hockey World Championships in 2001, where he won the bronze medal with his team.
