Krogulna

Krogulna ( German Krogullno Green Village ) is a village in Upper Silesia. Krogulna located in the municipality Pokój in powiat Namysłowski in Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Krogulna is located three kilometers north- west of the parish seat Pokój ( Bad Carlsruhe ), 18 kilometers south-east of the county town Namyslów ( Namslau ) and 31 kilometers north of the Opole voivodship.

History

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 903 voters voted to remain in Germany and 9 for Poland. In Gutsbezirk Krogullno Green Village 138 people voted for Germany and no one for Poland .. Krogullno Green village remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 1,379 residents in the town. On 19 May 1936, the town was renamed in Stobertal. In 1939 the town had 1,233 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Opole.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Krogulna and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to powiat Namysłowski.
