Krum is a city in Denton County in the U.S. state of Texas in the United States.

Geography

The city is located in northeast Texas, 12 miles north- west of Denton, at the Fram Road 1173, is 67 km to the north from the border with Oklahoma and has a total area of 5.1 km ² without significant water surface.

History

About 1885 moved the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway train tracks built through the area and established a small settlement, which they named after AR Krum, one of its shareholders.
