Krvavec Ski Resort
The Krvavec ski resort is located in the Alpe Kamniske ( Steiner Alps) in Slovenia.
Location
The small area lies on the southern edge of the Steiner Alps, in the commune of Cerklje na Gorenjskem. From the capital Ljubljana 25 km, 17 km from Kranj and Bled 35 km it is the most important ski resort in Slovenia.
It extends from about 1450 m above Zweh (1971 m. J. i ) Krvavec (1853 m. J. i ) and Kržišče ( 1658 m. J. i ). The area is as snow-sure, 100 days are guaranteed for 150 days are common. On Krvavcem there is also still the transmitter Krvavec the Slovenian Radio.
Infrastructure
The ski area extends over 94 hectares and has 30 km of slopes (easy 7 km, 15 km medium, heavy 7 km Freeride / Route 1 km). There is 1 gondola, chair lift 7, and 3 drag lifts. 95 % of the slopes are covered with snow. There is also a snow park with moguls, halfpipe, boarder -cross, 50 - and 70 -meter jumps. In addition, 3 km trail are groomed, and reported a toboggan run with 300 m.
