Kryvyi Rih Metrotram

The tram Krivoy Rog ( Ukr: Криворізький швидкісний трамвай ) is a tram service in the Ukrainian city of Krivoy Rog. It was opened on January 2, 1935, and built in the Russian broad gauge. On December 26, 1986, a fast tram was opened ( Krivoy Rog MetroTram ).

History

After the operation lay still during the Second World War, it was expanded rapidly after the war. In 1974 started the construction of high-speed rail lines and the establishment of tunnels. Quick tram

The fast tram (metro tram) existed until the year 2012, two lines with a total of eleven stops, four of which are underground. The network length was 17.7 km, of which ran 6.8 km in tunnel. In 2012, the hitherto unconnected with the rest of the tram network MetroTram lines were connected at the southern end of the route to the tram network. On August 11, 2012, the line 3 was set up, the 1.1 km further upside over this connection on Kilzewa addition (without the tunnel station to use ) until after Kilze KMK.
