Krzysztof Lisek

Krzysztof Lisek ( born May 28, 1967 in Gdańsk) is a Polish businessman and politician, Sejm deputy of the V. and VI. Election period and since the European elections in Poland in 2009 deputy in Strasbourg.

After primary school and secondary school, he completed a period of study at the Medical University in his hometown. He was one of the founders of the Independent Students Association NZS ( Niezależne Zrzeszenie Studentów ) and significantly involved in the introduction of the Euro <26 card.

Lisek belonged to the Congress Liberalno - Demokratyczny, later moving to the Unia Wolności / Freedom Union, which in the Platforma Obywatelska rose 2001 / Civic Platform. In the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2007, he obtained the second time after 2005, a mandate in the Sejm and was elected chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Since the 2009 European election, he sits as a representative of Poland in Strasbourg. He is Deputy Chairman of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence ( Sede ) and a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Human Rights, Common Security and Defence Policy (AFET) and the Delegation to the EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee (D - RU). Deputy member he is including in the Committee on Development (DEVE ).

Lisek is married and has two children.
